Impact evaluation of obtained results
The results obtained by carrying out the activities specified in the postdoctoral research project implementation plan (experimental data, calculation algorithms, command, control and optimization, models for simulating the dynamics and kinematics of UGVs, mathematical models for the analysis of the interaction between the ground and the propellant ) substantially improve the training process within the bachelor’s and master’s university programs of professional military engineers, thus being the most significant result.
The purchases of products from the funds allocated to the project have led to the improvement of the material base, which includes equipment that allows further development of projects involving research activities in the field of UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicle), in particular those that focus on increasing efficiency and mobility.
The experience gained by carrying out the activities specified in the postdoctoral research project implementation plan, materialized in the professional development of the participating staff, in increasing their skills by disseminating the results obtained in research papers or in Web of Science indexed journals, as well as in creating the framework for future participations within integrated teams for research projects in the field of UGV robots.
Creation of experimental databases, calculation, command, control and optimization algorithms that facilitate the future development of robots in the special applications UGV category, as well as the creation of a pole of technical and scientific competence that will allow faster integration in multidisciplinary teams for the realization and testing of UGVs, are other results with a significant impact on the future research activities of the staff involved in the project.
